Stephen Curry returns, Warriors easily beat Wizards

The return of superstar Stephen Curry has helped the Golden State Warriors extend their winning streak in the 2024/2025 NBA season.

Stephen Curry returned from a three-game absence, scoring 24 points in the Golden State Warriors’ 125-112 win over the Washington Wizards on the evening of November 4 (local time). Buddy Hield also added 20 points, helping the Warriors maintain their unbeaten record on the road, now 4-0.

Curry, who sprained his left ankle in an Oct. 27 game against the Los Angeles Clippers, shot 4 of 9 from the 3-point line, while Hield shot 3 of 8 from distance. For the Wizards, Jordan Poole also scored 24 points and Kyshawn George added 20, but it wasn’t enough to prevent the team’s second straight loss.

The Warriors started the game strong, scoring seven straight points and never trailing. Curry took just 39 seconds to open the scoring with a 3-pointer from 100 feet.
