On BBC Sport, former England striker Chris Sutton predicted that Man Utd will beat Leicester in the final match under interim coach Ruud van Nistelrooy in round 11 of the Premier League.
Man Utd – Leicester: 9pm Sunday 10/11
Man Utd crushed Leicester in the League Cup in their first game under interim manager Ruud van Nistelrooy. But Leicester made nine changes from their previous Premier League game.
So this rematch will be different but Man Utd still have enough confidence, quality and advantage to win. Midfielder Bruno Fernandes will shine in this match.
Prediction: Man Utd 2-1 Leicester
Chelsea – Arsenal: 11:30 p.m. Sunday 10/11
Declan Rice is doubtful, Martin Odegaard could return after a long injury, but Cole Palmer will decide the outcome of this match.
It would have been a draw if Palmer had not played, while Chelsea would have won if the England midfielder had played.
Prediction: Chelsea 2-1 Arsenal
Wolves – Southampton: 10pm Saturday 9/11
This is a battle between the bottom two sides and a crucial one for both managers ahead of the international break. Southampton will be buoyed by their win over Everton, and by Russell Martin’s consistent style of play.
But Wolves will win. Gary O’Neil’s side were lucky to escape defeat at Crystal Palace last time out, and will have an easier day.
Prediction: Wolves 2-0 Southampton
West Ham – Everton: 10pm Saturday 9/11
West Ham are struggling and lacking any real identity under Julen Lopetegui. They were lucky to beat Man Utd a few weeks ago and have been in unconvincing form.
Everton were in better form before losing shockingly at Southampton last week. Everton have only beaten Ipswich this season, and it will be difficult for them to take three points at West Ham.
Prediction: West Ham 2-2 Everton
Brentford – Bournemouth: 10pm Saturday 9/11
This should be a great game between two teams in good form. Bournemouth have taken seven points from Arsenal, Aston Villa and Man City, while Brentford have the best home record in the Premier League this season.
This prediction is based on Bournemouth’s form and confidence, but no one is expecting Brentford to be beaten at home. Many people might be thinking a draw,… and so am I.
Prediction: Brentford 1-1 Bournemouth
Crystal Palace – Fulham: 10pm Saturday 9/11
Crystal Palace’s form has picked up and they came close to a second successive win last week. They scored a 96th-minute winner against Wolves, only to have it ruled out. It was a valid goal and Crystal Palace deserved to win.
Fulham are in better form at home, but are evenly matched and also have a good record away from home.
Prediction: Crystal Palace 1-1 Fulham
Brighton – Man City: 0:30 Sunday 10/11
Brighton lost last week, but had a great first 45 minutes against Liverpool. Yasin Ayari and Jack Hinshelwood were impressive.
Manchester City have just lost at Sporting in the Champions League, and Bernardo Silva admits the club are “in a dark place”. But they are champions and will respond strongly. Pep Guardiola’s side need to show character and that could energise them.
Prediction: Brighton 1-2 Man City
