Striker Harry Kane scored three goals to help Bayern Munich beat visiting team Stuttgart 4-0 in round 7 of the Bundesliga.
Kane’s three-game goal drought was ended by three goals in just 23 minutes in the second half, as Bayern proved too strong for runners-up Stuttgart. It was the 31-year-old’s third hat-trick in all competitions this season, taking his tally to 13 in just 10 games.
Kane alone had 10 shots in the match, while no one on the away team had more than one. But it was not until the 57th minute that he opened the scoring with a shot from 28 meters away, at a speed of 122 km/h, sending the ball low to the left post. The probability of scoring from such a position is only 3%, but the England captain overcame the difficulty successfully.
Kane missed two more chances in quick succession before scoring twice in three minutes. His first shot in the box was blocked by a defender, but the former Tottenham striker’s follow-up was unstoppable, heading into the left corner from 7 metres.
Kane’s third goal was much easier, a rebound from less than 7 metres from Joao Palhinha’s long-range effort. Goalkeeper Alexander Nubel rushed out and got a touch from Kane’s left-footed shot, but the ball still rolled into the Stuttgart net for the third time in the game.
With a hat-trick, Kane was of course the best player of the match, with Fotmob giving him a score of 9.7, while no one else got a score of 9. The home team also scored another goal late in the match thanks to Kingsley Coman, to win by four goals or more for the fifth consecutive time this season.
This victory is also like a threat from Vincent Kompany’s team to Barca, the next opponent in the Champions League on the evening of October 23 at Camp Nou. However, Hansi Flick’s army is also in good form with two consecutive wins, scoring eight goals and conceding none.
